This is Jonah.  He is the most kind and loving big brother a guy can have.  On May 16, 2024, he picked up some food on his bike before returning home on his day off from working at the police department as a 911 dispatch communications officer. He was thrilled that day and decided to go past his house and go on a cruise. 

Down the road from his house, a lady tried making a left turn onto the road that he was on.  She didn't see him and hit him head-on, destroying his bike and her car.  The impact caused him to flip over the car (hitting the windshield on his way), and he landed on the other side of the street. He suffered a shattered pelvis, torn labrum, torn LCL, and multiple lacerations and contusions.  He has had a couple of surgeries with more to come.  Jonah is not an irresponsible biker.  He was wearing his helmet, obeying traffic rules, and didn't do anything that would have caused this accident.  Receiving a phone call that morning that my brother had been in a terrible accident was one of the scariest things I've ever experienced.  I didn't even know if he was alive or not for about 2 hours.  Fortunately, my brother is alive thanks to God.  However, recovery will be long and hard for Jonah.  Please support Jonah in his recovery.  This is one of the best examples of bad things happening to very good people.. and he's one of the best people I know.  Anything helps.
