We lost Rick Gable, affectionately known as Hemi, to the ranks of the 22 veterans per day who take their own lives due to PTSD and mental illness. Hemi was a beloved brother, a loving husband, and a devoted father. He was the type of person who would hug you and sit and talk with you if he thought you needed it, always putting everyone else's problems ahead of his own. Hemi's selflessness and kindness touched many lives, and his loss is deeply felt within our community. Rick's love for his brothers, wife, and kids drove him to face each new day despite his struggles.

Unfortunately, like too many others, he succumbed to the overwhelming battle within. We ask that we honor his family by remembering him for the good he did and the happiness he brought to many others, even while he dealt with his own darkness. All funds raised will go directly to his wife, Ashley, and their children, helping them navigate this difficult time. Please join us in supporting Hemi's family and preserving his legacy of love and generosity.
