Brian Lee Farlow, 51, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past four years, formerly of Dunkirk, IN, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born December 27, 1972 in Danville, IN to Allen Farlow and Michele May. He wed his beloved wife, Melinda Pogue on September 9, 2015.

Brian was a Veteran of the United States Army. After his military service, Brian spent the first portion of his working career in the construction industry as a brick layer. He was later employed by Bergman Farms of Tipton, IN and then moved on to Bergman Trucking in Tipton, IN.  When he moved to Cape Coral, he took a job with Honc Industries.

Brian was a loving husband, son, and father. He was also the grandfather of nine children whom he enjoyed immensely and who adored their “Papaw”. His move to Florida four years ago was his life-long dream where the weather was warm and he could enjoy riding his motorcycle year-round. He loved football and from a very young age, Brian became an avid Steelers fan and his loyalty to them never changed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda ‘Mindy’ Farlow of Cape Coral, FL; mother, Michele May (Paul Banasiak) of Huntley, IL; father, Allen Farlow (Barb) of Russiaville, IN; father-in-law, Everette Pogue (Tami) of New Madison, OH; his children, Kodey Farlow (Tyler) of Austin, TX, Kaleb Farlow (Shelbie) of Tipton, IN, Kameron Martin of Kokomo, IN, Chance Fuller (Hannah) of Goshen, IN; his sister, Marie Farlow of Tipton, IN; aunts, Janell Hunter, Phillis White, and Jewel Wright; and uncle, Steve May.

Brian was preceded in death by his son, Gus Martin; his mother-in-law, Patricia Clott; an aunt, JoNell Magee; and uncles, David Farlow, Dorsel White and Phillip McGee.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, Memorial Services will be held at Hemlock Friends Church, 4448 East 400 South, Hemlock, IN 46937.  Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:50 PM with the Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM. Dinner will be served at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any charitable contributions in memory of Brian Lee Farlow be donated to the BikerDown Foundation at bikerdown.app.neoncrm.com/Farlow, an organization that assists motorcyclists and their family members with a variety of services, including emotional support, limited financial assistance, and resources that will help the rider and their family navigate recovery.
