Brandon was on his way home when his bike went off the roadway, The details are still unknown at this time. He was ejected from it into a boulder/concrete wash.
There were no witnesses to the crash. A passerby saw the flashing light of the bike as he drove by. He stopped and rendered aid. It is unknown how long Brandon laid in the wash from the time of crash until the good Samaritan arrived.
Brandon suffered several life threatening injuries to include blunt force trauma to his abdominal region and severe head trauma. Brandon is fighting to stay alive, but he remains in a coma.
UPDATE: Brandon continues to fight for his life in Trauma ICU, with his wife Erica by his side. Erica is working with the VA to find a long-term acute care facility.
