On April 4th, 2023, my girlfriend and I were in a terrible motorcycle accident. We traveled back to Carrollton after attending an event at Wildcat HD.
We both were severely injured, and she ended up with 10 stitches over her eye and a really bad hematoma, but I ended up with a shattered leg and nine breaks between my knee and Ankle. Between several infections and lack of care by my doctors, my bones are not healing and regrowing, which has caused my doctors concern and potential additional surgeries in my future.
I have applied for permanent disability but have yet to be approved, and we have exhausted every penny trying to keep ourselves going. We have had a few groups help us with electricity, water, and food. We are currently $3,000 behind in rent, and I don't believe my landlord can carry us much further without some sort of payment. If we get evicted, this would leave 2 disabled people homeless.
We are asking the biker community and anyone reading this to consider giving what you can, and sharing this with friends. I have been riding for over 35 years and have always been willing to give anyone in need my last 20 dollars. Thank you for reading this, and thank you for considering a donation.
