Feed the Heroes: Meals for First Responders at the 2025 Sturgis Rally 🚑🚒🚓
💙 Why This Matters
Every biker knows the reality—accidents happen in an instant, and the first people on the scene are our first responders: police, fire, and EMTs. These heroes are the lifeline for injured riders, providing critical care in the most vulnerable moments—on the side of the road, in an ambulance, or at the hospital. At BikerDown, we believe in giving back to those who are always there when we need them most.
🍽️ What We Did in 2024
With the help of our generous community and sponsors, we provided over 200 grab-n-go meals to first responders at: 🏥 Rapid City Hospital, 🚒 Sturgis Fire/EMS, 🚑 Deadwood Fire and EMS. There is nothing more rewarding than handing a meal and a heartfelt “thank you” to those who never hesitate to step up, no matter the hour, the weather, or the risk. Watch YouTube Video click here
🔜 What’s Coming in 2025 - The 85th Annual Sturgis Rally kicks off August 1st, 2025, with 1 million riders expected in the Black Hills. Along with increased traffic and risk comes more pressure on first responders, many of whom are volunteers working long, stressful shifts for little pay. This year, we’re expanding support to: 📞 The Communications Department at Rapid City Hospital and ✝️ The Christian Motorcycle Association, which offer prayers and comfort to families of injured riders
Our Goal for 2025
Help us serve over 250 meals to the brave men and women behind the scenes. A donation of just $5 to $10 buys: A cold sub sandwich, A bag of chips, the best cookies the deli has to offer, A bottled drink, and a whole lot of appreciation
